Luxembourg: Registration opens for Eurovision 2025
It's now official! Following its return to Eurovision this year, Luxembourg is returning for the 2025 edition, which will take place in Switzerland. After a long absence, the Grand Duchy intends to capitalise on its recent success and continue its momentum.

A remarkable performance in 2024
Luxembourg's grand return to the Eurovision stage in 2024 had all the makings of a masterstroke. After an absence of 31 years, Tali and her song "Fighter »" finished in an honourable 13th place in Malmö, generating a lot of enthusiasm for Luxembourg.
Registrations are open: Luxembourg is looking for its new talent
For 2025, Luxembourg is not planning to do things by halves. Entries are open and an international jury of experts is preparing to select the best talent. The selected artists will then take part in the Concours de la Chanson Luxembourgeoise, where the winning song will proudly represent the country in Switzerland.
The conditions for participation are strict: candidates must be at least 16 years old on 1 January 2025, be Luxembourg citizens, have been resident in Luxembourg for at least three years or be well established in the local cultural scene. Artists must also... be available between November 2024 and May 2025, obviously 🙂
As for the songs in the competition, the Eurovision rules apply: they must be original compositions of no more than three minutes' duration and must not have been published or performed in public before 1 September 2024. Each artist or group may submit up to five songs, with the freedom to choose the language of their performance.
By opening entries so early in the year, the country is showing its desire to raise its flag again on the Eurovision stage. Who could be the next artist to wear the Grand Duchy's colours?
See you in May 2025 to find out what happens next!
