Finland in the lead, solid
Finland has been out in front on its own for several weeks. Linda Lampenius & Pete Parkkonen are the two favourites to win Eurovision 2026 and the buzz around them isn't fading, especially as in terms of applause in the arena in Vienna, they were the big winners with Akylas !
Alylas overtaken by Australia after the second semi-final!
After several weeks at the foot of the podium, Akylas is dethroned from its second position by Australian Delta Goodrem whose performance was incredible both on TV and from the arena! Akylas moves into third position and is closely followed by the Dane Søren Torpegaard !
In a nutshell
Israel maintains a 5th position and it's the sixth position which will be hotly contested between Monroe the representative for France, who sadly continues to lose ground, Alexandra Capitanescu For Romania, who made a great impression with a hyper-modern staging, Dara for Bulgaria and Sal Da Vinci for Italy.

Czechia this year are great and also shout out to Slovenia, Azerbaijan, Albania and Armenia
I am surprised by the lack of enthusiasm for the Azerbaijan song. It reminds me of Barbara Streisand in terms of her voice, the song's theme, and her gestures. The Belgian entry seems to be not well-received, but it is unique in its style, well-made, and could create a surprise 😲
