Eurovizija.LT 2026: Lithuania's 40 candidates have finally been announced!
And so it continues. Tonight it's the turn of LRT, the Lithuanian broadcaster, to announce its list of 40 participants who will be trying to take over from Katarsis during the Eurovizija.LT 2026 selection, the final of which will take place on 27 February 2026 in Vilnius.
While there are no «« headliners" capable of filling entire stadiums, this list reveals a line-up of artists marked by the return of familiar figures and "eternal » finalists". Lion Ceccah is the finalist from the 2025 edition, where he finished in second place. His return is eagerly awaited, and his presence immediately raises the question: will this be the year?
Same with SHWR (previously known as Shower), this artist is also making a comeback after securing second place in the superfinal at the 2024 edition. The same goes for Aistė Pilvelytė, often affectionately referred to as the «eternal » finalist", after more than a dozen appearances in the competition. Fans also responded very positively to Black Biceps who finished fourth last year.
The intensity of Eurovizija.LT 2026 will be based on the redemption stories of the veterans and the rise to power of Black Biceps and the new participants. It promises to be an exciting selection!
