What is the DORA selection ?
DORA is the national competition that each year determines Croatia's representative at Eurovision. Organized by Croatian public broadcaster HRT, il est une véritable institution dans le paysage musical du pays depuis sa première édition en 1993.
A DORA 2025 full of promise
DORA 2025 returns to Opatija, the coastal town that has hosted the competition on several occasions. This year the organizers recorded an all-time record number of entries, with 221 songs submitted. This is certainly not unrelated to Croatia's historic result in 2024 with Baby Lasagna and his Rim Tim Tagi Dim. Le succès de l’année passée a suscité un regain d’intérêt pour le concours. Un comité de professionnels a eu la tâche délicate de réduire cette liste à 24 chansons. Parmi les participants figure le groupe Magazin connu pour avoir représenté la Croatie en 1995 avec « Nostalgija ».
The songs will be unveiled on platforms on January 9, 2025.
Update du 08 Janvier : HRT annonce que Natalie Balmix est disqualifiée de DORA 2025 en raison de changements importants dans la version finale de la chanson. C’est Fenksta qui la remplacera avec sa chanson “Extra”.
Update du 09 Janvier : HRT a partagé les clips des artistes sur leur chaine Youtube.
About DORA 2025
DORA 2025 will consist of three evenings, two semi-finals (February 27 and 28) and the final on March 02.
Comme les années précédentes, les résultats seront déterminés par un vote avec 50 % des points attribués par un jury d’experts et 50 % par le public croate.
