Earlier this week we had the opportunity to speak with Saga Ludvigsson<\/a>a young artist of 19 who is preparing to take to the stage with her song \"\u00a0Hate You So Much<\/em>\" . Read on for her impressions after her selection last week, as she heads to the Melodifestival 2025 final this Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello Saga, can you briefly introduce yourself?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My name is Saga Ludvigsson, I'm 19 and I'm taking part in this year's Melodifestivalen with my song \"\u00a0Hate You So Much<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How are you feeling ahead of the final on Saturday?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I'm feeling fine at the moment and I'm not too nervous yet. I'm still in a bit of a state of shock after my selection last week. But I'm feeling good, it's going to be a fun week and I'm really looking forward to performing again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You said you were quite surprised. How do you feel after winning this semi-final?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It was crazy. I didn't think I'd make it into one of the top three places and I'm very happy.
I'm still very surprised! But it feels really good to have stopped by and I can't wait to come back on Saturday! I'm
I'm so grateful to everyone who voted for me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have any anecdotes to share with us after your performance?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We had a bit of trouble with the bar because I'm very small and I had so much trouble getting up on it, someone had to carry me up there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a finalist in Got Talent 2019 (Editor's note: Sweden has an Incredible Talent) and a finalist in Swedish Idol in 2023, do you realise just how much you've achieved and how fast things are moving for young artists?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Yes, totally! Everything's happening so fast, you're going from one thing to another all the time.
how much fun I'm having and everything I've been able to do so far, and I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm currently working on improving in this area. But I'm very well looked after, with my family and a
very good education, which is perfect for growing up serenely as a young artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What inspirations helped you write \"Hate you so much \u00bb?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Mainly Dolly Parton, but also Zara Larsson. But the story comes from someone who told it to me.
gave a list of tips to help overcome broken hearts, because in this kind of situation you go from sadness to anger. It's this mix of emotions that is reflected in the song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you planning any changes to your performance for the final?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

No, we're not going to change anything, I'd rather keep what the people voted for as it was last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are your favourite Melfest artists?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are a lot of cool songs this year, but I love 'Sweet & Psycho \u00bb' from Scarlet<\/a> and I
prefer their entry this year to last (editor's note: Circus X).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
