Not only is he taking part in Eurosong 2025 (the Belgian selection for Eurovision), he's also generating a veritable hype. Although he hasn't yet been chosen to represent Belgium, he's already one of the big favorites for the competition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An early start in the world of music<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Real name Seppe Herreman, Red Sebastian was first spotted in the second season of <em>Belgium&rsquo;s Got Talent<\/em> en 2013, \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de 14 ans. He sent emails with his demos to broadcaster VRT to propose his candidacy, but it went unheeded... until this year with his participation in Eurosong, where he'll be trying to secure his ticket to Basel next May! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et on peut dire qu&rsquo;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 bien entour\u00e9. Lors de ses \u00e9tudes de chant au Conservatoire Royal de Gand, il a eu la chance d&rsquo;voir parmi ses professeurs un ancien de l&rsquo;Eurovision&#8230; un certain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurovisionandfriends.com\/en\/performer\/gustaph\/\">Gustaph<\/a> ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Red Sebastian: a strong identity and a dream in the making<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>2019 marks a major turning point in his career: he adopts the stage name \u201cRed Sebastian\u201d to stand out and assert a strong artistic identity. The name was not chosen at random: it was inspired by the red crab Sebastian, a character from <em>The Little Mermaid<\/em>. The song promises to captivate audiences with its energy and electro-pop sounds.
