Eurovision 2025

JJ (Austria) is the overall winner of Eurovision 2025

Eurovision 2025, which was held in Basel, therefore crowned the Austrian JJ (Johannes Pietsch) with his song "Wasted Love »", a techno-pop opera. The 24-year-old countertenor from Vienna won over both the professional juries and the public, scoring 436 points (258 from the jury and 178 from the televote). This victory marks Austria's third Eurovision triumph, after 1966 and 2014.

Israel took second place with "New Day Will Rise » by Yuval Raphael, after she temporarily took the lead of the competition with a strong televote and a total of 357 points. The Estonian Tommy Cash came 3rd on the podium.

Louane for France, finished in seventh place with 230 points. Expectations were high, and the last few hours saw her rating rise among bookmarkers, but unfortunately neither the public nor the jury really followed her. It was the same story for Swedish favourite KAJ, who finished 4th.

There are also major disappointments. Like the United Kingdom (Remember Monday), which despite 88 points from the jury, received zero points from the public. Same punishment for Switzerland Zoë Më.
