Note: The "Big Five" (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom) and Switzerland, as host country, automatically qualify for the final. The other countries will have to go through to the semi-finals on 13 and 15 May.
Les nouveaux venus et les retours marquants de l’Eurovision 2025
L’Eurovision 2025 a été marquée par un retour très attendu : le Monténégro. Après plusieurs années d’absence, c’est la chanteuse Nina Žižićwho is already well known to fans of the competition and who will be representing the country this year, after the first mini-drama of the season. D’autres pays revenus récemment, comme le Luxembourg, confirment leur volonté de s’installer durablement dans l’Eurovision.

Cette année a été marquée par un nombre incalculable de retraits et d’éliminations d’artistes au cours de la pré-saison lors des sélections nationales (🇦🇱 Olsi Bylyku, 🇭🇷 LSQ feat. Lara, Natalie Balmix , 🇫🇮 One Morning Left, 🇬🇷 Salina Gavala and Tsiak, 🇮🇱 Benny Elbaz, 🇱🇹 Evelina Gancewska , Austėja Lukaitė, 🇲🇩 Eblansh Band, Valleria, Anna G, Dan Alexandrov, 🇲🇹 Alexandra Alden , 🇲🇪 Boban Rajović , 🇳🇴 Angelina Jordan, Lavrans Svendsen, 🇵🇱 Sara James, 🇷🇸 Buč Kesidi, Dram, 🇺🇦 Teslenko) and 🇲🇪 NeonoeN (replaced by Nina Žižić).
Mais c’est sans doute le retrait de la 🇲🇩 Moldavie du concours qui a fait grand bruit, en annulant sa sélection nationale après les auditions, mettant en avant des difficultés économiques mais aussi des difficultés quant à « qualité des performances artistiques ». Prends ça dans les dents…
