Festivali i Këngës 64: Alis launches Albania into the race for Vienna!
Late at night, with eyes red from fatigue, at the end of an incredible FiK 64, Albania chose its representative for Eurovision 2026. It is Alis who will have the honour of succeeding Shkodra Elektronike, who represented his country magnificently with a very good 8th place finish in Basel this year.
Pure Albanian DNA
With «Nân »", you don't change a winning formula. It has everything that makes Eurofans' hearts beat faster: stratospheric vocal mastery, a perfectly measured dose of drama and an organic build-up of power.
Upon first listen, we immediately sensed that Nan stood out with an epic, cinematic vibe, carrying lyrics full of emotion about exile and a mother's waiting. A universal theme that always resonates strongly in Albanian compositions.

A big challenge after Basel
The bar is set very high this year. Succeeding Shkodra Elektronike is no easy task. But Alis has that extra something, that magnetic presence that could well enable Albania to position itself at the top of the table again next May.
The 2026 season is officially underway!
Albania is the first nation to unveil its song for the new season. While we already know the name of Antigoni for Cyprus, it is Tirana that offers us the very first track to add to our Eurovision 2026 playlist.
What do you think? Can Alis do better than last year's Top 10? We look forward to reading your theories in the comments!
